Born To Be An Artist
Art has always been a part of my life either through my parents or my surroundings. But, eventually I gravitated towards art that was creative and physical. That’s why I experimented with sculpting, and eventually glassmaking.It’s a form of art where you use your body and mind to create an object with depth and purpose. It’s also an art form that’s unpredictable, giving you a unique experience and product every time. The complete opposite of a repetitive mechanical process.
Why Thames Glass
That’s why I created Thames Glass with my wife. It’s a way to pass down my knowledge and experience to other glassblowers and everyone else.
It’s a space where everyone can create, experiment and learn about the beauty of glass. I want people to know that glass is more than a beautiful object, there is a magical process behind it.
